If the club didn’t sell him to Spain a season ago for a reported 7-8 million euros then why are we trading within our conference for TAM/GAM? How much does Seattle have? He’s a HG so we would’ve kept a bigger percentage of the transfer. This is an example of keeping a player for too long like K. Acosta . The FO needs to figure out that sweet spot because I feel that we sold Tanner, Reynolds, Che, and Richard’s before they were ready.

Thanks for the comment! I don’t remember Spain being an option but Russia was - though the league cancelled that. Bit of a challenge to do business with a team in Russia with the Ukraine war going on. I agree this is puzzling but there are rumors that Jesus wants a change of scenery.

Paul Arriola might be going to Seattle too. More on that soon.

I believe he was linked to CF Cadiz last season

And also before the club was ready. Transfers a supposed to help elevate the club but we seem to continue to dilute the talent on the team season after season since 2016. We never replaced Reto, Walker Zimmerman, Hedges, Gruezo, Cannon, or Acosta.

Big mistake to trade Ferreira. What are we thinking? He is FC Dallas.

A long list of bad trades. Acosta. Drew Moore, Cooper, cerillo, McCarthy, Hollenshead and Nelson. Most have championship rings.

Ferreira is young!!!!

Yes. This is a tough one. A couple of those guys were injured or not quite there when they left. You can sort of justify letting Nelson go. Edwin too had been solid, but maybe they didn’t see an upside to him at the time. But you are right - many of these guys have gone on to have success away from Frisco.

Jesus is unique as a DP and a homegrown.

Ferreira is young. I can only guess that he hasn’t been happy in Dallas or is pushing for a move abroad. Does Seattle put him in some more high profile situations to open the door to a move abroad? Does it give him more high quality soccer and competitions? This one is for sure.
